Catch Basin

Your kitchen sink and laundry tubs connect to your main sink line . That line leads to and exits into the catch basin. Within your catch basin should be a “trap” which catches the grease and soap. Keeping it within the basin and all water exits at the bottom of the basin through the main sewer line. So your grease and soap will continually build up until removed.  ( Which should be done on a yearly basis for residential homes…. condo’s , townhomes, commercial property require more frequent service ) Some homes can have a varied set up with grease traps etc , to which there are varied services that can apply )
